Rainwater Harvesting at the Huntington Train station

 

Rainwater Harvesting is a wonderful thing to do on Earth Day

The Deck and Patio Company is celebrating Earth Day by planting Trees , shrubs and flowers at our lastest landscape project in Muttontown. We Will also be building a new Trex Transend deck in Dix Hills using a new composite material which uses recycle content like recycles grocery bags and sawdust from furniture manufacturing as it’s core for strenght and durability.

Our lastest endevor will be the new Rainwater Harvesting system at the Huntington Train Station on the corner of New York Ave and Broadway in Huntington Station New York. This system will capture rainwater from a permeable paver walkway, which will recharge the aquablox storage basin, circulate the water through a stream waterfeature and reuse the water in the drip irrigation system.
